LANDSCAPE & NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY

14 – 17 MARCH -3 nights 4 Days

Investment $1250 Tuition only

Deposit $375

This weekend concentrates on gaining confidence by learning the art of composing, assessing light, and achieving well exposed and dynamic images. We will also look at developing a series work in one of these genres this weekend.

Arts photographer Sharon Hickey and owner of The Aperture Club will reveal her insider tips and demonstrate ways of working mindfully in a variety of locations and situations.

We explore the use of light in landscape and nature photography and learn important elements of composition and its relationship with form. We will also be spending time evaluating our work and learning new ideas and concepts from Landscape Professional Sara Corlis.

This is a unique opportunity to work with professional photographers in an outdoor environment in an area inspired by many great artists and creative photographers.

Berry is surrounded by breathtaking flora and fauna and is located 2.30 hrs south of Sydney. From spectacular ocean beaches through to rainforests and waterways Berry offers us an amazing array of beautiful locations for us to explore and capture.

Arrive early if you wish and do nothing else but relax, meet wonderful people, indulge in great photography and explore this amazing landscape.

We work in a small group 4 to 8. 2 tutors will be available for personalised attention.

I really loved the Aperture Clubs photo workshop in Berry. The whole experience was extra special due to Sharon Hickey’s detailed planning, her knowledge of the area and amazing contacts. The accomodation, restaurants and variety of photography locations were very good. The timetable was well paced and our excellent one on one tuition from our professional photographers was tailored to our individual needs. It was great to be part of such a fabulous group.
